Car accident leaves 3 dead and 6 injured

Millions of vehicle accidents happen every year throughout the country, and many of those in California and other states involve speeding. Driving at excessive speeds places the driver and everyone else on the road in danger. Such seems to be the case in a recent accident that claimed the lives of three and injured several others.

Details regarding the crash

Around 9 p.m. on June 3, a black Ford Explorer was traveling along West Vanowen Street in Los Angeles. The vehicle was reportedly traveling at speeds of 65 to 70 mph on the city street. It then hit a dip in the road and collided with two other vehicles on the road.

The three occupants of the SUV, all men between the ages of 25 and 30, were killed in the crash. Emergency crews stated that as many as seven others were injured. One was a woman who was pregnant, but she apparently survived and was said to be OK.

Seeking compensation

Those injured as well as the surviving loved ones of the two SUV passengers killed in the crash may bring personal injury and/or wrongful death claims against the driver of the SUV along with anyone else who has an ownership interest in the vehicle. Considering the SUV driver was one of the ones killed in the crash, his estate can still be named in any civil lawsuits that arise. Affected parties will want to work closely with an experienced personal injury attorney in California for assistance.
